The park Bad Dürrenberg is situated on a plateau along the Saale riverbank. It is composed of four parallel elements, each with its own characteristics. These include a wooden enclosure, the garden sequence, the slope and river bank. The following interventions accentuate the qualities of these elements:

• Landscape window: Different views to the adjacent landscapes and the Saale shore will be integrated into the park.
• Park on a slope: The slope is developed as a special space with its own sojourn quality.
• Opening and Entrée: A new entry-plaza connects parc and city.
• Park segments: In addition, a series of careful interventions are provided to improve the experience of the different park segments.
